Gloucester Three Choirs Festival to Present Stanford’s Songs of the Sea

The 2019 Three Choirs Festival in Gloucester is to present Stanford’s Songs of Sea in a concert at Gloucester Cathedral with Ralph Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony on Friday August 2nd. 2019. Martyn Brabbins will conduct the Philharmonia Orchestra with Roderick Williams as baritone soloist. The concert starts at 7.45pm. Check ticket availability at the Three Choirs Festival website.

The Festival’s opening service in Gloucester Cathedral at 11.00am on Saturday July 27th will include Stanford’s setting of Psalm 150.
